I wasn’t just crazy about him, he made me go gaga!!

People say, first crush is always special. I still remember my first celebrity crush, well, he’s not that famous but for me he’ll surely be my first one and hence, the most special one. I remember the day when I was just sitting back with family watching, “SaReGaMaPa”, an Indian television singing reality show. It was then that I first saw him as an anchor and trust me I fell for him that very day. Next day, at school, there was an air of girl gossip over this guy, “Aditya Narayan”, son of a very famous singer, Mr. Udit Narayan. No wonder, he sings so well. And well in race with others I started to compete to be called as his biggest fan, I have no idea why, but I did. After that, my urge to be his biggest fan crossed all limits. Uh, no, I didn’t try cutting my nerves or something. I was a kid then. All I could do was insist my dad to get an internet connection and I remember how I waited my dad and mom to leave for work and I secretly used to download all his pictures and get them printed to maintain a scrapbook with whole lot of Aditya Narayan pictures. Gosh!! My printer’s ink was over in a couple of weeks. Then, comes the Valentine’s day, everybody around me had hyped this day a lot. I was single then, and thus, my valentine for all the coming years was Aditya. And since that year, uptil now, I’ve been buying him a rose and keeping it in my scrapbook, every year. And even that’s not the end of it, I don’t really have a surname, so, I changed my facebook surname to “NARAYAN”. Any discussion about Aditya, made me go crazy and mad. How badly I wanted to be his girl. Completely non sense and stupid, I know, but that’s how we define teenage I guess. The craziest period of your life. 


I was so crazy and possessive about him that whenever me and my sister had a fight, all she would do was run to get my scrapbook and tear the pages, and it fumigated me more than tearing a sheet having five stars would to do a kinder garden boy. I knew almost everything about Aditya, his likes, dislikes, favorite food, favorite holiday spot, favorite drink, his first crush, first girl, first kiss and how he liked music so much. Anything and everything about him was just so fascinating to me.

When his first movie “Shaapit” came up, since, I wasn’t allowed to go to movie halls that time, I just waited till the official CDs were released so I could watch the movie, and that was possibly the first haunted movie I was dying to watch. Not to mention, I wasn’t supporting pirated CDs, at least for Aditya’s movie. The madness for a guy, for your first crush, I definitely felt every single drop of it.

And Gosh! After spilling out all of it, I feel so stupid, this was the craziest, silliest yet the sweetest of my memories I’ll be cherishing throughout my life. After all, your first crush is always special. 

P.S. This is my most humiliating article, but I had nothing else in my mind. :-P
