What to do when you don't really know what to do!?

Since, I'm a follower of Jessica Harlow, a very renowned and famous blogger, this comes from one of her motivational videos.

Often we come across situations where we find our-self stuck at a certain point and we don't exactly know what to do, when we indulge in dejection and depression. We start feeling that our lives have become stagnant and the love for life fades. But life is an art of drawing sufficient conclusions from insufficient premises. So, why to stay stuck at that point, move ahead, buckle up your shoes and realize what's your worth, what your life demands from you. Now this all may seem to be stupid and boring preaches, but trust me its not just about preaching but about enlightening you the way I got enlightened. The foremost issue that comes in picture when you are there at that blocked stage is that however close a person may be to you, you wouldn't be affected by any consolations. It all seems crap and irritating to us. So, we need a different solution.

To start up, start with something you love to do, something that you're sure about, that if you do that, you won't fail at any point. It has been said "Never give a man up until he has failed at something he likes." It is believed that something that we're sure about, something we love to do, is just where we can't fail. This will help you to stay engaged and certainly you'll get a view, get an inspiration to move away from the stuck place. Adding to that once you gain something out of it, you get encouraged to do better in that area. Mostly, things of our interest, things that make us happy are those that are concerned with us, our happiness, our good. Basically, we carry an empty bag with our-self and start up our journey in search of all the happiness, the luck, the goods, the charms, that we missed in our life and that we expect to get from the people around. But that attitude of carrying an empty bag kind of gives vibes of desperation, which is the stinkiest perfume ever. People start getting away from you and there's no attraction of an inflow to your empty bag. Moreover, its not bad carrying an empty bag because it lets you open to opportunities and rewards. What you can do is carry another filled bag which lets you offer your talent of spreading love, happiness and life to people around. Its more like a give and take system. You have to earn the right of filling the empty bag by offering what you carry in another full bag.

Now, we live in a competitive world where we are more concerned with money rather than all these holy learning and preaches. We all know that opposites attract each other. How we can apply this in our case is that when we stop caring about the money issues, and focus more on what we like to do is where we move our concern to somewhere else and since both of them, the money and a zeal for life are two opposite poles of a magnet, we end up attracting the opportunities that finally take us to money.

Encourage people around you, this may seem vague as when a man himself is in a depressed state of mind, how can he be an inspiration or encouragement to others. But, that is not the case, in process of encouraging others, one may end up getting encouraged and influenced by himself because most often we don't really know what lies within us, what we are capable of. Or it may happen that since our mind is stuck at the blocked state, whose cause we're unaware of, in course of motivating others, we might end up pulling few strings and heading to a solution to our own problem. And if not, the solution then, at-least the problem can be known.

So, to sum up, if you don't exactly know what to do, just realize that you are a human being and you are here to show your humane nature to the world. Not just you, but the world needs you. All of us have that certain potential, that capability that matches with no one on this planet. See it, feel it and nurture it. Don't just sit idle and waste your time, benefit yourself. Put the time to use, serve the role of a giver, a beautifier. Take pride in creating whatever you can and slowly you'll end up knowing what you really want to do at that point of time, what actually is your worth and that's when you'll start loving yourself, loving this world, loving this life.

  6. So I went through this, it's pretty nice, I liked it. But what if you know that you are absolutely awesome at doing something, and you love it, but still you face utter disappointment. You fail terribly at it, only because someone else in this amazing world has worked hard to put you down...out of personal gains, or jealousy. The reason of failure might also be the wrong impression people might have of you. What should one do then?
(I know what to do, or what you might say. But I'm asking this only to know if our thoughts match, like they do in terms of the whole article over here)

  7. First of all, if you seriously love something, it becomes more of doing it, rather than winning it. If that thing is of your interest, brush up your skills in that, and doing that should give you pleasure and not disappointment because its not what you're fighting FOR, it's what you're fighting WITH.
As the article says, that particular interest is supposed to help you come out of the blocked state of mind, rather than adding up to another stress.
As far as personal gains, jealousy are concerned, these are the part and parcel of life, you just can't avoid it. Just keep doing what you love, and the whole world will actually surrender before your capabilities linked with the thing you love. But, yes, this does need patience, time and faith.
So, Akash, I really hope our views match. Thank you, for writing down what you feel. :)
